What do you think? Does this fit the Lochin or is it too much...?

A bit of a vague question but on average how long does it take to build a Lochin? 1.The moulding process 2.Fitting the boat out with engines, stern gear, (the mechanical side) 3.Electrics, electronics installation 4.Fitting out internal galley area, seats etc. Any Lochin, but in particular somet...

Hello everybody, I've just joined this forum because I'm a great admirer of Lochins, especially 33s, and hope to own one in the not too distant future. My current boat is an IP23 so it will be quite a step up for me and my family. I bought the IP23 to give my son and daughter a chance to learn the ropes. B...

Anyone know the history of the Aquabell boats? When were they were first constructed etc. I understand the original design was by Robert Tucker. Regards, Aqua.

Does anyone know if Aquabells have boat build numbers or HINs marked into the boat and if so where would they be located? Aqua.

Hi all, hope you've had a good season. Have any of you fitted synchronous windscreen wipers? I would like to upgrade my wipers to 2 speed with intermitent. I'm quite happy for the passenger to operate their own wiper which would leave the other two to be modified. The vetus control units look nice, are t...

Hello Dave, Sorry for the slow reply and my lack of posts lately. I looked at your photos and the boat is really now coming together nicely. You were writing that the trim is done in Iroko. hi all, question: if I let Tommie fall dry with low tide without legs, will water come on the deck through the drains before she starts floating again when the tide comes in ? best regards, kees.

Hi all, As the frige I placed last year in Tommie appeared to be much to small if Chantal's thirsty family comes by, and the space under the front bench was used for storing things we don't realy need, I made a 80 ltr. refrigerator in it. the compressor I placed on the coolest place deep down under the wheel...

Hi Folks My Raymarine 4000 auto pilot has gone useless and it looks like I am going to have to replace it. Hi all, Since the 4 x 22 x 19 R prop hangs under Tommie, she tends strongly to starboard. There are no return valves mounted in the hydraulic system. When i let go the steering wheel above 9 kn. she immediately goes hard starboard. I cannot feel any play on the rudder shaft and there is no air in the hydrauli...
