hi all, question: if I let Tommie fall dry with low tide without legs, will water come on the deck through the drains before she starts floating again when the tide comes in ?
hi kees i dont know your freeing port arrangement but there is a lochin workboat in my local harbour that has 2 freeing ports in the stern. every year the owner takes off the beaching legs and when the harbour dries out she is laid right over sitting on her bilg tide on the other sidehe then antifouls one side and does the same on the next for the other side he has never had water run in on the deck before she lifts. she is one of the early lochins with a single engine fitted out by cynus marine and branded as a Falmouth fast fisherman (circa 1972)
