Hi All Had an interesting charter a few days ago. We had a BBC film crew filming White Tailed Sea Eagles from Lady Jayne. It is for a childrens wildlife programme called Deadly 60 presented by Steve Backshall. Thankfully we were lucky and the Eagles were interested and came close to the boat taking fish...

Greetings All I've been looking at the engin room ventilation arrangement on my old 33 and originally there was a series of holes in the back of the engine box with a cowel over them but these holes had been blocked off many years ago and the acoustic insulation had been applied over the top of the blocked...

Hey everyone, Just would like to know if anyone else is having problems with viewing the postings. We have to keep using the < and the> arrows to move the page as the postings appear really large and not within the normal margins. Any ideas on how we can fix the problem? Thanks Kelly

Hi Everyone What about posting some pics of your favourite anchorages? I have added some to get the ball rolling, hopefully I can add more as the summer progresse and I get a chance to explore our local area more. This bay is on the south of Mull and only easily accessible by sea so seldom gets any visitor...

Hi everyone, Boy has it been a terrific week! After 2 years and 10 months (exactly) we have launched our Lochin. She was lifted from Landsborough on the 9th June, to the hardstand at the local marina. The only drama we had, was that the crane that lifted her from her cradle got bogged in my father in laws dr...

Hi everyone I am going through the systems on the boat and familiarising myself with where everything is and how it works. I have an issue with access to the steering ram, at present the only access is through a hole about 6 inches in diameter which unscrews and lets you fit the emergency tiller. This in m...

Home(ish) at last Finally got Lady Jayne back in the water and back to Mull. Had to wait for a fair tide through the Cuan sound to avoid the 7 knot tide. Pretty unpleasant crossing the Firth of Lorne but the Sound of Mull was much better, good enough to trust the autohelm. Got most of the way home then the eng...

Hi All Things are finally moving on with Lady Jayne now. She is in a yard at Balvicar on the island of Seil and being well looked after.
