cygnus cyclone 26


Hi all,

 can someone tell me where I can get a hull off a cygnus cyclone 26 please
Ive been long looking for a new cyclone 26 but i can find it nowhere
I found the link to findafishingboat but there was no e-mail address , the site had expired

Hi BE discovery and welcome to the forum

You're right, seems to have disappeared withut trace. Looks like the moulds may have gone somewhere in Edinborough.

If the present owners can't support their advertising, I certianly wouldn't want to deal with them. Shame, it was a good boat but SH ones are around.

You wouldn't know if the build quality was as good as Cygnus anyway.

I think the Cyclone 26 is made in Edinburgh, they have an advert in the "Fishing News" weekly paper.
I know the moulds for the Cyclone 30 are now with Murphy Marine Services in Valentia, Co. Kerry, Ireland.
I know this boatyard very well and they have just produced some hulls, the workmanship is excellent and the layup procedure is identical to that when Cygnus were producing these boats.
If you need a contact no. for this boatyard just let me know.
