Does anybody know of any trailer manufacturers that make a trailer suitable for carrying the Lochin 33? Just a simple un-braked trailer to pull the boat up & down the slipway and into the car park at our harbour using a Large Tractor. The crane bills up here are crippling & I often thought of building simple trailer but It would be a lot less hassle if I could just buy one of the shelf! Any Help or advice greatly appreciated
When Alderney had a BREDE lifeboat in the 1980's they had a trailer for it exactly as you describe. It was used when the boat needed to be pulled into the shed for cleaning. If you ring the harbour master -Steve SHAW he might be able to tell you where they got it etc as he was the Cox at the time and instrumental in getting the station re-opened.
