diesel tank

hello lads

a bit of information regarding fuel tanks.

my mate has got a lochin 33 sports fisherman
with a iveco 330 hp ,cruise at 16 knots ,
22knots flat out

with the fuel tank behind the engine he could
never see over the bow properly even with a decent set
of trim-tabs . so last year he had the boat out for a refit
and change the one tank for two side tanks ,he had
a new deck fitting as well

now when he's cruising at 16 knots
she runs a bit more evenly
and he can see over the bow properlly and
the engine dont seem to be working as hard .

if any of you lochin 33 owners are having the
same trouble this bit of information might be usefull

dave p

Hi Dave

Mine is a bit like that. Where did he fit the tanks, under the wheelhouse floor?

Have you got any pics or is he local? I wouldn't mind having a look even If I don't fit them yet but leave space for them.

Cheers

Chas
