HI all.

Found something interesting on uk emergency vehicles site. It shows a Lochin catamaran called a Lochin SB1100 or SB1200 depending on length, to be built by Lochin and ready by mid 2012.

I would say that is a South-Boats Catamaran (see pics) The only reason I'm thinking that, is that there is a South-Boats cat berthed next to us most summers, & it looks very like the same boat to me. Perhaps they are buying the mouldings from them & Lochin are fitting them out as a one of job? When we bought our Lochin back in 2001-2002 we were mainly dealing with a fellow called Ben Coleman, a very helpfull guy, who left Lochin a few years later to work for South-Boats

Yeah I think you are right as then the model  SB1100 would equate to South boats 1100......makes sense now!

The last picture you posted was of, I think she is called 'Mystique' and was built by the builder of my boat, Bluewater boats in Plymouth.

Ah well, shame Lochin are'nt developing a cat??????

Greetings Gents

Not too sure what's going on here. If you look at the cat in the link, it has a very similar superstructure to the Lochin 366 police boat in the next picture.

Maybe Lochin are proposing to build cats based on the South Boats hulls with their own superstructure?

Having said that, I haven't heard much about the 339 lately and that was due out last year.
