Any plans for 2011

Hi Everyone,

Wondered what plans you all have for your boats this year whether refurbishment, repair or just getting out and using and enjoying your time afloat.

Blue Swell is due a lift, scrub and hold if i decided not to have lifted ashore for a few weeks in a month or so.I have found using micron extra antifoul fantastic and certainly does what it says on the tin being 2 years protection.
Hopefully nothing to major to do this year on the refurb/repair front just have the windows to re bed in and a little bit of cosmetic work on the topsides apart from usual servicing although always something to fiddle with, but thats boats doh.gif and with a bit of luck this year i may get a few more days afloat fishing and hoping to have the odd long weekend away smile.gif

All the best for 2011....... Geoff

Hi Geoff,
now my boat 'Sorcerer' is finally in the water I won't be taking her out again until the end of the year, so I am hoping for an improvement in the weather!!!  I have only been out once, briefly, in the bay here in Brixham since she arrived, just to give her a quick run, so I have no idea as to how much fuel is being used yet.
Still trying to get my head round the mountain of 'bedside reading' I have. There are  manuals for everything!!
Like you say, there is always something to fiddle with owning a boat, I need to get some black streak remover and have a bit of a clean up of the topsides, although it is not very dirty it just pleases me to do it.......no, sorry everyone, that was'nt an offer!!
Regards.
Dave.
