Hello Dave and welcome.

Thank Christ we've got some else posting!

Your Mitchell looks nice, they're good boats. How about posting a picture on the "Here's Mine" list?

I run out of Chichester and I'm berthed at Sparkes Marina so we're not too far apart.

Nice plaice by the way, bet it tasted good.

All the best and keep posting

Chas

Hi ocean tramp and welcome to the forum.

I like the idea of a variety of boats on this forum, any chance of posting a picture?

Cheers

Chas

Hello Ocean Tramp,

Welcome to the forum.

Nice to see a new member with a different type of boat. A great sea and fishing boat. They were popular in Holland as well. What engine are you running?

Cheers

Harold

thanks for the welcome i will post a picture shortly
the engine is a 12ohp ford thought about a larger unit but with large bilge keels to push through the water i wonder if the extra cost would be worth it and as the mooring dries out the large bilge keels keep the boat upright and thats handy

Hi Ocean Tramp

Nice plaice! We fish up here on the West Coast Scotland but don't get plaice like that on rod and line. You see a few good uns sometimes from the prawn trawlers. Action is mostly pollack, good sport on light tackle, with a range of other stuff too. In the Sound of Mull you can still get Giant Skate of 200lb plus if your patient enough.

Tight Lines
